Make Websites Mobile-Friendly: 5 Astounding Tips

If the website isn’t mobile-friendly, you’re turning people away from your business

Our team had the opportunity to work with the local Tri-Cities, WA restaurant Foodies. Working closely with this client we were able to craft the perfect custom website design & development.

Foodies is a family-owned restaurant providing high-quality ingredients, flavorful dishes, and an inviting atmosphere. Customers can order entrees, appetizers, and sweets from two brick and mortar locations. In hopes to stay current with the market, Foodies leaned on our growth marketing agency to create the perfect website design to meet the goals of their company.

Phase 1: Temporary landing page

To begin, we initially developed a separate landing page for customers to order to-go & delivery options. We took this approach because the client did not have a current web presence. The landing page provided an opportunity for customers to order food from their restaurant while the main website was under construction. This acted as a temporary tool to receive customers and sales until the new website was ready to launch.

Phase 2: Website design mockups

Once the landing page was complete and functioning our team turned to the design phase. It’s important to set the stage and form a strategy so the goals of the website can be met. Here we focused on incorporating all the desired forms, CTAs, and features Foodies wanted on the site. The design phase is complete with performance in mind and a clear goal of what success looks like for the project. After we nailed down the site architecture based on the best layout for the Foodie user experience, we mapped the appropriate content and messaging.
